Last time I shared, I had the opportunity to pitch Seeds of Change to the Exponential NEXT Ventures Shark Tank - an annual gathering that highlights innovative ministry leaders who are helping shape the future of the Church.

Each year, only 12 leaders are selected to present initiatives that are already making a real impact and have the potential to multiply. Those chosen receive more than just funding - they gain coaching, visibility, and strategic connections designed to accelerate their mission.

Last month, I traveled to Orlando, Florida, for the Exponential Global Conference to make my pitch. It was an incredible experience, but like many moments of stepping out in faith, it came with uncertainty. I was told I would receive an email letting me know whether I would move forward or not.

Then the email came.

“We are excited to inform you that your ministry has been chosen to take the next step toward potentially becoming a presenting project at our Shark Tank event coming up in September 2026…”

Reading those words was both humbling and energizing. It means Seeds of Change is still in the process - still in the running. I’ve since completed the next round of the application, and now I wait to find out if I’ll be one of the 12 ministries selected to present in Houston this September.

But here’s what I know for certain: no matter what happens next, God is moving. This journey has already been a reminder that when you step out in obedience, you never quite know where God will lead—but you can trust that He is at work in every step. And honestly? I can’t wait to see what comes next. What a ride!!
