Vision & Values
Our church's name and vision is based on the woman at the well in John 4. Several concepts come out of that passage that we want to implement:
- Jesus crossed racial, cultural, and spiritual boundaries to reach this woman.
- Jesus was concerned about this one person, not just the masses.
- Jesus was relevant, by using something that she deeply desired--water--to show her the way to have a personal relationship with Christ.
- This woman was so impacted by Jesus that she brought her family and friends to Him.
That is why our church is called LifeWater Community Church. "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." John 4:13-14
